Born in Albania and raised with the desire to belong to the world, Angie Gega started expressing her passion for art at age of 5, when she picked up a novel from Stephen Zweig and read it in 2 weeks. A troublemaker by nature, that always broke the rules for what she thought was right, Angie Gega started taking ballet classes at the age of 7. The desire for dance was immediately rooted in her veins.
Age 13 underlined her first trip as a professional dancer, which was then followed by trips and shows in Italy, Greece, Germany, Macedonia, and many more.
In 2001, she won 1st place in a national high school dance competition, dancing/choreographing "Survivor" by Destiny's Child.
After graduating from high school, she moved to Greece, where apart from studying Psychology at "City College", which is affiliated with "Sheffield University" in the UK, she took drama classes, which lead to dance work and a singing contract.
Shortly after she moved to New York and then Los Angeles where, while graduating college with two degrees Broadcasting and Communication, she also pursued acting, singing, and dancing. Some of her acting credits include: "Drake and Josh", "Grey's Anatomy", "Solved", "Missing Audrey", "I'm Alive", and more. She studied acting with Howard Fine and Ted Brunetti.
In the music world where she is recognized as "Anjeza", she counts many collaborations with great producers. She recently released music on 28 digital medias including iTunes that sells her two singles "Fuego" and "Still Believe".
Because of her traveling lifestyle at a very early age, she was introduced with the desire to learn different foreign languages. With the knowledge of more than 6 languages, one of her goals is to record music in different languages and perform around the world, reaching different audiences.
An Actress/Dancer/Singer/Songwriter/Model/Writer/Humanitarian, and the list will only get longer. She is in love with life and "hungry" to make a difference.
